These terms govern the use of this website. They are not the terms on which we accept a commission; those are agreed with you in writing before any work begins.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
What this site is for
It exists to show our work and to let you write to us. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and nothing on it forms a contract. A commission becomes a commission when we have agreed a design, a price and a timescale with you in writing.
Any figure or timescale mentioned here is indicative. Every piece is quoted individually, because what a piece costs depends on the materials and on how long the work takes.
Accuracy
We take care over what we publish, but we do not warrant that everything here is complete or current. Photographs show pieces we have made; handwork varies, and a piece made for you will not be identical to one made for somebody else. Colours depend on your screen.
Our work, and the Royal Arms
The photographs, drawings, text and design of this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from, and are protected by copyright. You may look at them, and print or save a page for your own reference. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
The Royal Arms shown on this site are used under the Royal Warrant granted to Cleave & Company Limited. They are not ours to license and must not be copied, reproduced or used by anyone else, in any medium, for any purpose. Nor may any design of ours be used in a way that suggests a connection with His Majesty The King or with the Royal Household.
The designs of the orders, decorations and medals we make belong to the Crown and to the bodies that confer them, not to us.
Linking to us
You are welcome to link to any page here, provided you do so fairly and do not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist. Please do not frame the site within another.
Links to other sites
Where we link somewhere else, it is because we thought it useful. We have no control over those sites and take no responsibility for them.
Availability
We do not promise the site will always be available or free of faults. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
